Questions?

I'm realizing that I've never answered questions here.

So, if you have any questions about Point Loma or anything having to do with campus life, things to do, etc., comment on this blog post and I'll do my best to answer your questions :)

  2. What is the deal with the junior and senor year hour-long recitals? And is a "music in ministry" major difficult?

  5. I can't really say I have a favorite place on campus yet. I love being on campus in general. One thing I really love though is being anywhere that overlooks the ocean and just being able to sit, be still, and know that God is God and He's holding all the earth in His hands.

Gospel choir IS great. You don't have to be a good singer and no there are not tryouts. Our conductor, Kim Bogan (who is AWESOME btw) has this policy: If you can talk, you can sing. So, Anonymous, I'm going to assume you can talk. So yes, you can still join. If you can't talk... I guess you could be the groups interprative dancer.

To be honest, I don't know much about those recitals. I have not attended one. And it depends on what you call "easy." Some people think any music major is "easy" but it's really not. It's a different type of learning. It may not be as rigorous of a schedule but learning a new instrument or learning music theory is like learning a new language. So, no, I wouldn't say it's difficult, but I also wouldn't say it's particularly easy. I manage.

    Steve, that wasn't a question :)
